2025 IATSE, Teamsters 399, and Other Basic Crafts Rate Increases
August 3, 2025 marks the start of the new contract year for the Union Term Agreements.
Effective August 3, several major Hollywood union agreements—including IATSE agreements, Teamsters agreements, and Studio Basic Crafts agreements—will implement wage increases of 4% and updated benefit contribution rates. Below are detailed changes for each agreement, including new MPIPHP pension & health rates and IATSE Area Standards increases.
Wages
Effective August 3, 2025, wages for the following agreements increase by 4%. Note: Any minimum rates based on a percentage of the basic rate will also increase.

Benefits
MPIPHP Rate Increases
- Effective August 3, 2025: The Pension & Health Premium Rate Group 40 increases from $14.0275 per hour to $14.8875 per hour. Note: This is the rate charged for most independent signatory companies.
- Effective August 3, 2025: The Pension & Health Basic Rate Group 52 increases from $9.5175 per hour to $9.9675 per hour. Note: This is the rate charged for major studio signatory companies that are considered $15 million contributors.
- There are no IAP or CSATF increases for the 2025 contract year.

- Effective August 3, 2025: Increases from $143.42 per day plus 8% of gross to $158.32 per day plus 8% of gross for Las Vegas.
- Effective August 3, 2025: Increases from $131.00 per day plus $4.20 per hour to $146.00 per day plus $4.20 per hour for Hawaii.
