2025 Tribeca Film Lineup: 18 Must-See Films to Keep an Eye On

The 24th Tribeca Film Festival returns to New York City June 4th to June 15, 2025 and promises a solid lineup of storytelling across genres.
What’s new for 2025?
With a record-breaking number of submissions, this year’s festival will showcase 118 feature films from 36 countries around the world. With Oscar-nominated actors, international musical influence, and a roster of films representing 135 filmmakers, the 2025 Tribeca lineup is more diverse than ever and set to be a landmark celebration of storytelling and innovation. Tribeca is also welcoming alumni in the highest numbers to date, including alumni producer Rick Gomez with client project ‘She Dances.’
What are the must-see films this year?
One of the most anticipated films this year is the world premiere of Something Beautiful, Miley Cyrus’s visual album. The debut of this highly anticipated musical film is June 6th, and will be followed by an exclusive conversation with Cyrus herself. From another musical legend comes Paradise Records, a comedy about a music studio directed, written, and produced by Logic.
This year’s festival features a slate of high-profile client projects starring major talent. Among the highlights is Tow, a narrative film inspired by a true story, with an ensemble cast including Rose Byrne, Octavia Spencer, Dominic Sessa, Ariana DeBose, Demi Lovato, and Simon Rex. The romantic comedy The Best You Can, starring real-life couple Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick, will also make its global debut. In addition, Nick Offerman and Dennis Quaid take the spotlight in the narrative film Sovereign, which will premiere at Tribeca as well.
