New York State Reduces Unemployment Insurance Contribution Rate for New Employers in 2018
New York State's unemployment insurance contribution rate for new employers has decreased from 4.0% to 3.6% for 2018.
The Department of Labor mails rate change notices in March of each year, so clients should receive theirs soon if they haven’t already. For more information, visit the Department of Labor's website.
