SAG And DGA Increases Effective July 1, 2024
Some increases have become effective for both SAG and DGA on July 1, 2024 that you’ll want to take note of.

SAG
Pay Rates
- Increase minimum salary rates from the Basic Agreement and Television Agreement by an additional 4%.
- Increase minimum salaries for stunt coordinators by an additional 6.5%.
Contribution ceilings
- Television and New Media Motion Pictures
- Half-hour TV and New Media programs 35 minutes or less increases from $15,000 to $25,000 per episode
- One-hour TV and New Media programs 36-65 minutes increases from $25,000 to $35,000 per episode
- One-and-a-half-hour and Two-hour TV and corresponding New Media projects have no change.
- Theatrical Motion Pictures – No changes

DGA

Wages
- Additional 4% effective July 1, 2024
- Salaries for directors of pay television motion pictures (other than pay-per-view) generally produced for network prime time television and directors of High Budget SVOD shall increase additional 2% effective July 1, 2024
- Salary rates for directors of strip dramatic non-network and non-prime time programs (Article 6, Section D.1. of the FLTTA) shall increase additional 3% effective July 1, 2024
Additional Fund Increases
- Excerpt fees increase by five percent (5%)
- Lead-in fees increase to $121
- Underwater work allowance increase to $194
- Aircraft flight allowance increase to $194
- Dinner allowance increase to $33
- The incidental allowance increase to $24
- Wrap supervision fee increase to $62
- Additional Shoot Day on One-Hour Pay Television Services and 36-65 Minute Tier 1 High
- Budget SVOD Series
- Increase number of guaranteed days for a Director by 1 day and adjust the minimum rate to $54,144 on or after July 1, 2024
Benefit Focused: Paid Parental Leave Fund
- Effective July 1, 2024, 0.5% of EE’s salaries will be paid to the newly established Paid Parental Leave Fund.
