5th Annual ‘Produced By: New York’ to Take Place November 10th
Saturday, November 10, 2018 at One Time Warner Center in New York City
Presented by the Producers Guild of America (PGA) and sponsored by GreenSlate, Produced By is an educational forum conducted by acclaimed producers—including numerous Oscar and Emmy winners—as well as the next generation of creative entrepreneurs.
The event features a broad range of programming, networking events, and workshops, including the popular “Producing Masterclass: The Creative Collaborations.” Returning for the fifth year, in an expanded format that will encompass 12 productions, “Masterclass” will be broken out into four distinct sessions, three focused on narrative features and one devoted exclusively to documentaries.
Academy Award®-winning producer Bruce Cohen (“American Beauty”) and Mimi Valdeìs (“Hidden Figures”) will lead the discussions, which will feature producers and their collaborators from some of the year’s most critically-acclaimed films including:
- “The Favourite” director/producer Yorgos Lanthimos and writer Tony McNamara
- “A Quiet Place” director/writer/executive producer John Krasinski and producer Andrew Form
- “RBG” producers/directors Julie Cohen and Betsy West
- “Widows” director/writer/ producer Steve McQueen and producer Iain Canning
- “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” director/producer Morgan Neville and producer Caryn Capotosto
No other event gives producers so many opportunities to network with and learn from top storytellers and decision-makers in the entertainment industry. To register, visit ProducedByConference.com

“If you're not using GreenSlate for processing production payroll, then you're not thinking clearly. We run about 10–12 productions a year and have used several of their competitors. I've put off sharing this as I've truly felt they've been a competitive advantage.”
