Star-Studded ‘The Devil All The Time’ Arriving on Netflix
Sinister characters converge around a young man (Tom Holland) devoted to protecting those he loves in this suspenseful, seductive Midwestern gothic tale.
The Devil All The Time is based on novelist Donald Ray Pollock's 2011 family saga of the same name.
Director Antonio Campos (Simon Killer, 2016's Christine) wrote the screenplay with his brother Paulo. In an exclusive preview with Entertainment Weekly, Campos said it was a difficult book to adapt because there was so much that they loved: “I’m a big fan of southern gothic and noir and this was a perfect marriage of the two. Sometimes you might be adapting a piece and you think like, well, there is a seed of a good idea here and I’ll just throw everything away and start from scratch. In this case it was like, we love everything!"
The film is executive produced by Jared Goldman, Marc A. Hammer, and Annie Marter, and stars Tom Holland, Bill Skarsgård, Riley Keough, Jason Clarke, Sebastian Stan, Robert Pattinson, Haley Bennett, Eliza Scanlen, and Mia Wasikowska.
The Devil All the Time premieres September 16, 2020 on Netflix.

“If you're not using GreenSlate for processing production payroll, then you're not thinking clearly. We run about 10–12 productions a year and have used several of their competitors. I've put off sharing this as I've truly felt they've been a competitive advantage.”
