Written by GreenSlate | Feb 5, 2026 4:01:09 PM

This agreement establishes the first comprehensive collective bargaining agreement for Intimacy Coordinators in the entertainment industry, providing minimum terms and conditions for this relatively new classification of entertainment workers.

The 2025 SAG-AFTRA Intimacy Coordinator Agreement will become effective on February 22, 2026, and will apply to all scripted dramatic productions that commence principal photography on or after that date.

The Agreement will terminate on the same date as the SAG Basic Agreement and the SAG Television Agreement. It covers all Intimacy Coordinators employed by producers represented by the AMPTP who are working on scripted dramatic programming (excluding serials). The Agreement applies to work performed within the United States and its territories.
